I'm sure you've all heard about Thai chain Mango Tree by now, and if you haven't, you're in for a treat! Even while I was in Melbourne, I'd been hearing quite the buzz about this new restaurant. And now that I've had the chance to try it (many, many times!), I can understand why. Click on for some refreshing delights!

And here began the journey to Ramen Kan... As per Andrew's recommendation, Sophie and I - and our gloriously empty stomachs! - made our way into the city, into China Town, into a rickety little elevator, and finally, inside to find what could be likened to clouded heaven in a steaming bowl.

One out of my beautiful days in Sydney was spent leisurely strolling through the city. I had no direction of where to go food wise, and Sophie and I were both content in just appreciating how lovely everything looked bathed in sun.
Suffice it to say, sometimes these un-orchestrated days are the best. Without an inkling of a plan to follow, we were free to do... well, anything!

I've made a facebook page for the blog for updates and things of the sort! Was not quite sure if I should make it, but then again, what is there to lose? Please show some love and 'like' the page! I'll be updating it regularly in tandem with my blog. Feel free to leave me any messages or ask any questions there! Even make some suggestions of restaurants / cafes / bars that you love and would like to see photographed and featured on here :)
I adore all of you kind readers! Thank you for everything!
Hi, my name is Jessi, and I am addicted to Greek food.
*Hi Jessi! Nice to meet you!*
Nothing makes my ears perk, eyes widen, and tummy grumble faster than the mention of some Greek eats. It may not be clear in the photo below, but this is the signage for a Greek restaurant in Cronulla. It is right near by where Sophie lives in Sydney, and she is an angel for enlightening me of its existence just in time for our late lunch / merienda. It says:
GREEK YUM CHA
ALL YOU CAN EAT

For my first full day in Sydney, Sophie took me to explore Newtown. With such a pretty strip of road full of restaurants and shops - definitely worth checking out for a leisurely stroll and for some munchies. It was so difficult to decide where to eat! But we had it set in our minds that it was soup for lunch, and soup we got! (and some glüh wein, yum!)
Just so we are in full disclosure here, there will be a very slightly gruesome photo down below of Sophie's stitched finger! My silly girl got into an accident with an immersion blender a week or two before. Be warned! Heh.
